| and B) they were NOT the first to use that design. My neighbor has a Corvette exhaust (no, not the B&B one) from before Billy Boat was even a company and it has those tips. All that aside, I think of it this way. B&B has a huge markup on their exhausts versus other companies. Why? Better quality? Maybe. Better materials? In some cases, sure. Flow/Design? Perhaps. So if someone comes around and makes something with better quality, equivalent materials (stainless/stainless) and better flow (might be minute, but it is)...for WAY less money, what's the harm? If these were rim knockoffs the knockoffs would likely be heavier, made with inferior metals or perhaps have fake bolts to look 3 piece when their are just 1. In that case, knockoffs are crap and deserver the reputation they have. So it's apples to oranges from the way I look at it. Build a better mousetrap... :)
